Masters Squad are looking for a new Coach

Newbury District Swimming Club is a small club with approximately 250 swimmers.  We cater from ASA Stage 1 teaching right up to a Masters’ swimmers.  We have many swimmers at County standard as well as Regional swimmers and National swimmers.  We are a friendly, supportive, and inclusive club.  We are looking for a Masters coach to lead and help grow our masters squad.

You will be accountable to our Head Coach, working closely with her. You will be responsible for the delivery of the coaching program for the Masters squad  –  which includes a good number of very active competitive swimmers.  There is also likely to be opportunity to work with our age group squads as cover work if interested.

This is a self-employed contract.  Hours and days to be Monday and Wednesday evenings at Hungerford Pool.   

You are expected to be punctual, reliable, flexible, enthusiastic and have good communication and management skills.  You must have the ability to motivate, encourage and develop our swimmers.

Pay is negotiable depending on experience.  Candidates should be working towards their ASA Level 2 coaching qualification; however, we will pay for courses and training for the right applicant.
