Chester Bailey Shines at Biathle European Championships

Newbury District Swimming Club is proud to celebrate the achievements of Chester Bailey, who represented Great Britain at the Biathle European Championships in Turkey on Sunday, 9 November 2025.

Competing in the Under-11 category, Chester delivered an outstanding performance, finishing 9th overall and earning the distinction of being the highest-placed British athlete in his age group. His efforts also contributed to Team GB securing a bronze medal in the team event.

The challenging sea swim proved to be a new experience for Chester, but his training with NDSC clearly paid off. His resilience and determination on a long, hot day were a testament to his growing talent and commitment to the sport.
