Double Triumph for NDSC Swimmers at London T-100 Triathlons
Two of our talented swimmers from the Advanced Performance Squad made waves at the London T-100 Triathlon series on August 9th and 10th.
Reiss Smith's Super Sprint Success
On August 9th, 15-year-old Reiss Smith took on the London Super Sprint Triathlon, consisting of a 400m swim, 10km bike, and 2.5km run. Reiss delivered an impressive performance, emerging from the swim in first place with a time of 5:40. He went on to complete the bike and run segments with times of 22:32 and 10:53 respectively, finishing with a total time of 47:18, ultimately securing 2nd place in his age group.

Anna Patterson's Birthday Triumph
The next day, Anna Patterson celebrated her 18th birthday in style by competing in the Olympic Distance Triathlon event. The challenging course consisted of a 1500m swim, 40km bike, and 10km run. Anna dominated her age group, taking the top spot, and also claimed 3rd place among all female competitors. Her overall total time was 2:16:30 (Swim: 19:50, bike: 1:05:43, run 43:54). Notably, on the swimming front she achieved the fastest female swim time of the day (19:50) and 6th overall with Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty just ahead of her in 5th.
These remarkable performances showcase the strength and versatility of our swimmers, and we're thrilled to see them excel in triathlon competitions. Congratulations to Reiss and Anna on their achievements!
