Grace swaps lane for lake at Open Water Nationals
Grace Wade recently competed in the GoCardless Swim England Open Water National Age Group Championships 2025, held at Rother Valley Country Park on Saturday, 26 July 2025.
In her first experience of Open Water Nationals, Grace bravely swapped the familiarity of the pool for the open water, tackling the 7.5km event – a staggering 300 lengths of the Northcroft pool! Her hard work paid off, finishing 14th in the 17/18 year old age group (and 8th among 17-year-olds) with an impressive time of 1 hour 42 minutes.
Well done Grace on this fantastic achievement!
