Derek CarleyHead Coach and responsible for A squad, Derek has has been coaching with Newbury for over 20 years. He is an ASA coach (level 4) and an ex swimmer at National level
Carolyn McLeodSenior coach and responible for B squad. Carolyn began coaching in 1993.She is a Level 3 Club Coach and also a qualified Timekeeper/Judge and Starter.
During her many years involvement with the club Carolyn has also been Treasurer and Registration secretary for about 7 years, squad rep, pool time manager and has ran the shop for a while.
Janet HopkinsResponsible for Cruisers squad. Janet is a level 2 teacher/coach with many years experience running the teaching programme and coaching young swimmers. Janet is also a qualified judge, club chairman and a former president of the Berks & south Bucks Amateur Swimming Association.
Dave MilburnResponsible for Masters squad. Dave is also actively engaged in Masters swimming and is currently the National Masters champion for the 100m and 200m breaststroke
Jackie BraceyCurrently coaches Challengers on Wednesday evenings at Hungerford. Jackie has a long association with Newbury and we are glad to have her back after a period of absence. Jackie is a level 2 coach and has a wealth of experience with younger swimmers.
Andrea FergusonCurrently responsible for the NDSC teaching programme and prior to that was involved in coaching the development squads. Andrea has been involved in swimming for over 10 years and is qualified to level 2.
Nalini MistryA teacher with the NDSC teaching programme. Nalini also coaches Cruisers and Sprinters On Thursday evenings. Nalini is qualified to level 2.
Tony ShoreResponsible for Challengers squad. Tony is qualified UK club coach level 2
